Nita Gray

I gained weight during my pregnancy and was suffering from post-partum depression.  I used food for comfort, but it was hurting my health and well being.  I am so grateful for the support and motivation that I have received from Inches-A-Weigh.  Just knowing that when I get to the center there will be people who are going to cheer me on is so comforting.  The staff and owner are there for me when I need them and they really do care for me.  It is good to look in a mirror and say “This is me now!  I love it!”   I wasn’t confident about my appearance before, but now I love the way I look.  It’s funny, but I’ve wanted to wear a jumpsuit for a long time, and now I finally fit into the one I’ve wanted to wear.

In my weight loss journey, it was important for me to gain my independence.  What I mean by that is that I’ve learned how to eat the right foods, exercise the right way, live the right lifestyle and be healthier and happier.  It’s been hard, but this new road to independence is wonderful, and Inches-A-Weigh taught me how to do that.

There are so many different types of weight loss programs, but none of them really combine all of the necessary elements you need to be successful, EXCEPT Inches-A-Weigh.  I tried Weight Watchers and while I was eating right, the exercise part just wasn’t there.  I needed the whole package, and I am passionate about Inches-A-Weigh because that is what they offer.  I also am passionate that the centers are for women only because they really do promote the empowerment of women, and help us to live healthy, active, and balanced lives.
